Altitude: The Timex Widescreen WS4™watch has advanced sensors which calculate altitude based on barometric pressure. In addition to displaying your current altitude, it records the maximum and accumulated altitude over time. This feature can be used as a valuable acclimatization tool, tracking time spent at or above a target altitude or sounding an alarm if you have climbed too high. Calibration for increased accuracy can be performed with 1 touch.

Weather Conditions: The Timex Widescreen WS4™ displays the current temperature in Celsius and Fahrenheit along with current barometric pressure. The Timex Widescreen WS4™ also displays 4-6 hour weather forecast with symbols indicating approaching weather conditions.

Compass Heading: Some of the best places on the planet are the hardest to get to. The digital compass on the Timex Widescreen WS4™ will navigate you around the forest, city or mountains. Displaying headings in degrees, cardinal points, the compasses adjustable declination angle ensures accurate orientation to True North.

We were a little sceptical when we first heard about the Timex Widescreen WS4 however once we took it out of its extremely cool "sandwich or ammo box" - great packaging concept - and got it on our wrist we were sold. Definitely 9 out of 10
Great looking rugged yet fits the wrist perfectly. Well laid out screen display, with some great functionality. This is a must have wrist gadget. The WS4 an adventure watch but it is more than that, it is an altimeter with atitude, a compass with direction and a barometer with a real handle on the weather. Timex have produce in the WS4 an adventure expedition watch which will be worn in the office, in the bars and around town as well as being used in the great outdoors. Brilliant job Timex.
